Wolves U-16 girls continued their title push with a 79-26 victory at Brentwood Fire on Saturday afternoon.

McCray's team were in dominant form throughout the game, increasing their 18-6 first period advantage to 38-16 going into the locker room. The game was effectively over as Wolves led 60-22 going into the final frame where they wrapped things up with a 19-4 run.
Meryam Kuscuoglu led a balanced offence with 18 points, with Gauri Kohli finishing with 14, Daisy Golan and Eunice Wong 12 apiece and Jane Yu 10
There were mixed results for the U-16 boys' teams with the Premier side going down 84-74 at title chasing London Thunder while the Conference team demolished Aylesbury Dux 119-53.
Michael Ball's Premier team trailed 21-17 at the first break but a big second period saw them go into the locker room leading 43-33. That proved to be as good as it got against a side with two GB internationals in it as Thunder outscored Wolves by 14 to lead 62-56 at the final break and wrapped up the win with a 22-18 fourth period.
Noah Binum led a Wolves side missing point guard Otis Lau-Johnston with 18 points, with Titaoun Vimeux and Sam McCree adding 12 apiece.
The Conference team never looked back after a 29-13 first period and Ibrahim Gariba's side were 54-29 up at half-time before blowing the visitors away with a 37-11 third frame and wrapping it all up with a 28-13 fourth quarter.
The U-14 boys also put in a fighting performance before going down 97-85 at East Premier title chasers London Legends.
An early 10-0 run for the hosts put them in charge but Wolves fought back to reduce the deficit to 26-17 at the first break and were still in the game at half-time as a much bigger Legends side led 53-40. An excellent third period saw George Walker's team cut the deficit to 70-60 , getting within two points at one stage, before the ridiculous foul count caught up with the visitors in the fourth pariod to allow the hosts to seal the win.
Jacob Edrupt was again in imperious form with 46 points for Wolves.
Wolves U-12 boys A kept up their title surge with a 54-30 victory at Oxford Hoops while the B team went down 76-23 at Essex Rebels.
